A Collection of Internet-era IT Literacy Teaching Modules

These teaching modules are designed for use in an Internet-era IT literacy course. I have over 90 modules now and plan to create enough for two overlapping courses -- one aimed at students with a strong interest in IT and another for general students. I teach an entire course using these modules, but one could easily select a few to supplement another course.

Amazing PowerPoint Presentations

These are lessons that I have taught in my position as Technology Teacher for Norwood District 63 in Peoria, IL. I currently teach technology to all students in our district K-8. I have prepared 8 days of my lessons to teach for Illinois Central College (ICC) College for Kids in East Peoria, IL for the 2011 summer session.

Computer Connections Research Project

This is a summative task designed to give students an opportunity to show mastery of several topics and skills learned and practiced throughout the course. It is interdisciplinary and an excellent way of learning about the ubiquitous nature of computer technology.
